Engineering Talent Program (ETP)

ETP is a 2 year trainee program; designed to give maximum exposure to key areas of our business, which will form the foundation of someone’s unique career with NI.
On this program, we focus on taking the current technical knowledge of an individual and complementing this with business acumen and interpersonal skills; enabling them to move on to high impact roles across our company.

Field Sales

The Field Sales role is customer facing and involves working closely alongside our customers, to understand their business issues and explore ways in which NI and its partners can deliver value to the customer’s organisation. It requires a blend of technical and business expertise and a strong desire to make customers successful.

Systems Engineers

Systems Engineers specialise in specific products, technologies and industries. They provide in-depth consultancy on NI products and systems to NI Field Sales and to customers. They advise on feasibility, architect complex systems and develop proof-of-concept solutions to show customers how NI technology can help solve their engineering challenges.

Applications Engineering Specialists

Applications Engineering Specialists work directly with our largest customers to ensure they are successful in adopting the NI products. They focus on supporting customers with larger, more complex NI Systems by delivering on site services such as customised training and system architecture consultancy. They also help customers and the Applications Engineering department solve more complex technical support questions.

Human Resources

Human Resources within the Northern European Region acts as a business partner, coaching all eight countries on their Recruitment, Benefits and Compensation, Talent Management, Learning and Development as well as other aspects of Employee Relations and Local Office support. We work in collaboration and as trusted partners to the business on their complex personnel related challenges.


The Finance Department is committed to fulfilling our traditional roles of reporting and financial governance as well as providing timely, accurate, clear, and value adding information and support to our internal business partners. Mainly based out of Dublin, the team covers not only the Northern European Region, but also EMEIA as we grow.

Integration Engineering Services

The Integration Engineering Services group is responsible for helping sales increase the share of wallet for NI strategic accounts and help NI and its products enter mass markets for strategic application areas by designing, implementing, and deploying custom. The team is made up of engineering project managers, software, and hardware engineers. Their goals are to ensure customer success, enable standard product revenue, and provide profitable services revenue.



In Operations we support internal and external customers with various tasks. Some of the areas we work in are; Quote Generation, Order Management, Events and Customer Education Support, Agreements/Service Contracts with external customers.




The marketing department’s goal is to generate awareness and demand for sales, increasing market share and contributing to company’s growth and profitability. Our department consists of Marketing Communications Specialists and Technical Marketing Engineers. The Marketing Communications team is responsible for promoting NI’s vision, products, services and platforms through different media channels (e.g. Social Media, Events, Web, Advertising, PR). The team of Technical Marketing Engineers is responsible for gaining market insight, demand creation as well as pipeline acceleration, sales enablement and account-based marketing. Working closely together, they contribute to the success of our business.
